We will miss you very much after you leave us tomorrow. We will visit you soon on the first weekend in June at your new home in Governors Island. Until then, here is something:
Who cares if you're small
Who cares if you're tall
If your yellow, brown, black or white
fat or slim
Feathery, or not so much
One of the sun's color,
big, bold and bright
Another of the night sky,
as she drifts she spreads her angel wings
Two twins together,
black and white with soft feathers
One of soft, soft feathery feet
And last, but certainly not least
the little baby leopard,
as small as can be
Who cares if you're small
Who cares if you're tall
Not one is better than the rest
You are all amazing chickens!
Nice poem!
